Flower Decals and Polka Dots on my Fingernails

I bought a bunch of water decals from the Born Pretty Store a while back, and then totally forgot about them.  I like to use decals for my manicures because they are so easy to do and they always look perfect.  I looked through my decal collection and chose these for the cheerful colors and, of  course, I always like flowers.  Then I searched through my nail polish for colors that would match/go with the decals.  I ended up putting OPI Don’t Talk Bach To Me on my thumb and pointer nails, Nicole by OPI Sweet Surrender on my accent fingernails, and OPI Hotter Than You Pink on my pinky.  I used my smallest dotting tool to add dots to the pinky nail with Sweet Surrender.  Then I soaked the decals in water for a few seconds and slid them onto my accent nails.  I really like how this mani turned out, I love how the green of Don’t Talk Bach To Me looks with this.

About sunflowerswank

After working all of my life, I retired in June, 2011. I try to use my extra time to rest, exercise, paint my fingernails, play with my 9 cats, spend time with my husband, Al, and cook healthy and lower fat recipies for us to eat. I try to use as many fruits and vegetables in my menus as I can cram in, sometimes to the complaints of the hubs - LOL! I am also making over some of my old favorites to be heathier with more vegetables in them, and less fat.
