Mixing Summer and Winter on my Fingernails

It’s the time of year that I just can’t decide if I’m ready for Autumn and cooler weather, or if I want the Summer to last longer.  We’ve been having cooler weather and some rain here, and we really really need the rain, so I think that I pretty much have to go for the fall weather and the rain.  But I still want some summer, too.  This mani is a mixture of winter and summer polishes, and I like how it turned out.  And a big bonus because it lasted over a week with only one tiny chip on the corner of my ring fingernail.  I painted my thumb, pointer, and pinky nails with OPI Where Did Suzi’s Man-Go? and my accent fingernails with  OPI Underneath The Mistletoe.  Then using the polish brush, I painted stripes of the other color down the middle of each nail.  I topped the mango polish on my middle nails with Nicole by OPI Kissed At Midnight.

About sunflowerswank

After working all of my life, I retired in June, 2011. I try to use my extra time to rest, exercise, paint my fingernails, play with my 9 cats, spend time with my husband, Al, and cook healthy and lower fat recipies for us to eat. I try to use as many fruits and vegetables in my menus as I can cram in, sometimes to the complaints of the hubs - LOL! I am also making over some of my old favorites to be heathier with more vegetables in them, and less fat.
