Bubble Bath and Snowflakes on my Fingernails

Every so often I want a plain, natural, minimalist mani to offset the bright, colorful, in-your-face polish that I usually wear.  Of course, I should know by now that it’s impossible for me to do a plain manicure, no matter how much I might think that I want to.  I started out with OPI Bubble Bath on all of my nails.  As much as I like this polish, it was just too pale and whitish for my taste.  So I topped it with Sally Hansen Vitamin-D light, a pinkish clear top coat.  I really liked this pinker color a lot better, but it just looked so plain to me so I topped off my tips with OPI Snowflakes In The Air.

About sunflowerswank

After working all of my life, I retired in June, 2011. I try to use my extra time to rest, exercise, paint my fingernails, play with my 9 cats, spend time with my husband, Al, and cook healthy and lower fat recipies for us to eat. I try to use as many fruits and vegetables in my menus as I can cram in, sometimes to the complaints of the hubs - LOL! I am also making over some of my old favorites to be heathier with more vegetables in them, and less fat.

  1. I think it’s still a simple mani (and you know coming from me that means nothing, as I am all into the loud colors, too!) but classy with the bit of sparkle on the tips!

  2. LOL – Thanks! Even though I usually like the bright colors, I actually liked this one quite a lot, but I did end up taking it off after only a couple of days.
