Experimenting With Water Marble on my Fingernails

I see lots of beautiful water marbles on the internet and I’ve been wanting to experiment with it for a long time.  I put it off because it’s difficult and messy, and now I know that it is even more difficult that I thought, and messier, too!  However, I think that everything considered, this came out pretty good for my first attempt.  I painted my thumb and pinky nails with Nicole by OPI Totally In The Dark, and my pointer nails with OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls and I topped it with OPI Which Is Witch.  I painted my accent fingernails with My Boyfriend Scales Walls and I did the water marble with Revlon Black Lingerie and Orly White Tips.  The white and the black mixed together more than I thought that they would, so I think if I ever do this again, I will paint my thumb and pinky with a dark grey nail polish instead of black.

About sunflowerswank

After working all of my life, I retired in June, 2011. I try to use my extra time to rest, exercise, paint my fingernails, play with my 9 cats, spend time with my husband, Al, and cook healthy and lower fat recipies for us to eat. I try to use as many fruits and vegetables in my menus as I can cram in, sometimes to the complaints of the hubs - LOL! I am also making over some of my old favorites to be heathier with more vegetables in them, and less fat.
