Red and Pink and Glitter and Stripes for Summer

I really liked the glitter and green stripes mani I did a few weeks ago, but it took me a long time to do since I put the stripes on all of my fingernails.  So this time I decided to only put the stripes on a couple of accent nails.  I also used a new polish I got from the OPI Brazil collection for summer, a beautiful rosy pink called Kiss Me I’m Brazilian.  I painted my thumb nail with Nicole by OPI Scarlett, my pointer fingernail with OPI Solitaire, and my pinky with OPI Kiss Me I’m Brazilian.  Then I put a base of Nicole by OPI Sweet Surrender on my accent nails, and I used the brush in the polish bottle to put a strip of OPI Kiss Me I’m Brazilian down the middle.  I put a coat of OPI Minnie Style, a great red, pink, and white glitter on the stripe, and with a striping brush I edged it with Nicole by OPI Scarlett.

About sunflowerswank

After working all of my life, I retired in June, 2011. I try to use my extra time to rest, exercise, paint my fingernails, play with my 9 cats, spend time with my husband, Al, and cook healthy and lower fat recipies for us to eat. I try to use as many fruits and vegetables in my menus as I can cram in, sometimes to the complaints of the hubs - LOL! I am also making over some of my old favorites to be heathier with more vegetables in them, and less fat.

It looks like OPI gets a clean sweep over all its competition, LOL. Great mani, like many, Mary!
