Sparkly Spring Pastels on my Fingernails

We were teased with nice, warm, sunny weather for a couple of days, and we thought that Spring had finally arrived, but then it turned cold and cloudy again.  So I got out two of my new summer colors and painted my nails bright, Bright, BRIGHT!!!!!  But the cold and foggy weather had affected me, and the bright colors looked just a little Too bright for my mood.  So I toned them down with a couple of toppers, and ended up with pastel nails that sparkled like crazy in the sun whenever it decided to peek through the clouds.  I painted my accent nails with OPI Live.Love.Carnaval, and the rest of them with OPI Where Did Suzi’s Man-Go?  Then I topped them all with a coat of OPI Happy Anniversary and a coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Heady Topper.

About sunflowerswank

After working all of my life, I retired in June, 2011. I try to use my extra time to rest, exercise, paint my fingernails, play with my 9 cats, spend time with my husband, Al, and cook healthy and lower fat recipies for us to eat. I try to use as many fruits and vegetables in my menus as I can cram in, sometimes to the complaints of the hubs - LOL! I am also making over some of my old favorites to be heathier with more vegetables in them, and less fat.
