Trying out a Valentine’s Manicure

Al always takes me out to a nice dinner for Valentine’s Day, we have been going to the same restaurant for over 25 years!  So starting the first of February, I try to decide what I’m going to wear.  I thought and thought, and tried on a billion different outfits, and I finally had my perfect outfit!  And then I had to figure out what manicure would go perfectly with it.  This is what I came up with, I painted my thumb and pinky with OPI Underneath The Mistletoe, my pointer nail with Nicole by OPI Not A Gold Bigger and topped it with Nicole by OPI Kissed At Midnight.  Then I painted my accent nails with OPI My Vampire Is Buff and then painted a line down the middle with Underneath The Mistletoe using the polish brush.  Then I topped that with Kissed At Midnight.  I’ve already gotten lots of compliments, and I can hardly wait until February 14!

About sunflowerswank

After working all of my life, I retired in June, 2011. I try to use my extra time to rest, exercise, paint my fingernails, play with my 9 cats, spend time with my husband, Al, and cook healthy and lower fat recipies for us to eat. I try to use as many fruits and vegetables in my menus as I can cram in, sometimes to the complaints of the hubs - LOL! I am also making over some of my old favorites to be heathier with more vegetables in them, and less fat.
