Sparkly Gold French Tips

I bought a bottle of Wonderous Star from the OPI Mariah Carey Holiday collection, and then I had no idea what to do with it.  Then I remembered a really cute mani on one of my favorite blogs – Cowboys and Crossbones.  It was gold french tips on white nails and it looked so elegant and festive, I just knew it was what I was looking for.  So I did her mani on my nails.  For the white I used Orly White Tips, the glitter is the OPI Wonderous Star, and the gold tips are Maybelline Color Show Metallics Bold Gold.  I wish I could have gotten the effect of the gold glitter better, IRL it was really sparkly!  A perfect compliment to the gold tips.  Al liked this one because all the nails were the same!

About sunflowerswank

After working all of my life, I retired in June, 2011. I try to use my extra time to rest, exercise, paint my fingernails, play with my 9 cats, spend time with my husband, Al, and cook healthy and lower fat recipies for us to eat. I try to use as many fruits and vegetables in my menus as I can cram in, sometimes to the complaints of the hubs - LOL! I am also making over some of my old favorites to be heathier with more vegetables in them, and less fat.
