My New Year’s Eve Fingernails

We went to Surla’s again for New Year’s Eve.  I love this restaurant, the food is always so good, and last night was fabulous.  We started with a small portion of tuna tartar, then a beet salad and butternut squash soup, then a small plate of lobster gnocchi, then our entre was prosciutto wrapped scallops, then chocolate cake, and then finally, a tiny cup of hot cocoa, a cookie and a dark chocolate truffle.  Oink!!  But delicious!

I painted my nails to match my outfit which was a long-sleeved white blouse with ruffles around the neck and down the front, and black and gold buttons in the shape of flowers, and black pants.  I painted my thumb and pinky nails with Nichole by OPI Totally In The Dark, my pointer fingernail with Maybelline Color Show Metallics Bold Gold, and my accent nails with Orly White Tips and topped them with OPI Happy Anniversary to give them a little bling.  Then I used Totally In The Dark and Bold Gold for the dots.

About sunflowerswank

After working all of my life, I retired in June, 2011. I try to use my extra time to rest, exercise, paint my fingernails, play with my 9 cats, spend time with my husband, Al, and cook healthy and lower fat recipies for us to eat. I try to use as many fruits and vegetables in my menus as I can cram in, sometimes to the complaints of the hubs - LOL! I am also making over some of my old favorites to be heathier with more vegetables in them, and less fat.
