Red and Black Plaid on my Fingernails

I wore my red and black plaid shorts for Thanksgiving dinner, and I painted my nails to match.  For my thumb and pinky I used OPI Stay The Night, I painted my pointer fingernail with OPI Danke-Shiny Red, and my accent nails with OPI My Vampire Is Buff.  I stamped the plaid pattern using Konad Black and Mash image plate Mash-39, and then I added stripes with my striping brush and Danke-Shiny Red.  I really like how this mani turned out – and it lasted for 5 days without any chipping!

And when I was taking pictures of my nails, I had a visitor – it landed right on my hand!

About sunflowerswank

After working all of my life, I retired in June, 2011. I try to use my extra time to rest, exercise, paint my fingernails, play with my 9 cats, spend time with my husband, Al, and cook healthy and lower fat recipies for us to eat. I try to use as many fruits and vegetables in my menus as I can cram in, sometimes to the complaints of the hubs - LOL! I am also making over some of my old favorites to be heathier with more vegetables in them, and less fat.
