Monochrome with Sparkles on my Fingernails

I’ve been thinking about doing a monochrome mani with these polishes, and I finally thought that I had it figured out.  But once I got into it, it didn’t turn out exactly like I thought it would.  But even so, I really like it, and I got more compliments on it than I have gotten for a mani in a long time.  I think that I will need to practice more with my striping brush, the stripes look OK, but up close I can tell that I was struggling.  Thank goodness most people don’t really look closely at my nails!

I painted my thumb and pinky with OPI Number One Nemesis, and the rest of my nails with OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls.  Then I topped the tip of my pointer fingernail with OPI Which Is Witch?  I then painted a stripe of OPI Skull & Glossbones down the middle of my accent nails with the brush from the bottle, and then very lightly put a little splotch of Which Is Witch? on them.  And then, using my striper brush I painted on some stripes with OPI Number One Nemesis.

About sunflowerswank

After working all of my life, I retired in June, 2011. I try to use my extra time to rest, exercise, paint my fingernails, play with my 9 cats, spend time with my husband, Al, and cook healthy and lower fat recipies for us to eat. I try to use as many fruits and vegetables in my menus as I can cram in, sometimes to the complaints of the hubs - LOL! I am also making over some of my old favorites to be heathier with more vegetables in them, and less fat.
