I’ve been seeing a lot of manicures that use scotch tape cut with craft scissors. So I took Al to Michael’s to check them out, and he was amazed that such a thing existed. We found a bunch of different kinds, and they were sold one, two, three, four, and six in a set, and I was trying to decide which ones were the best when Al found a box of 12 different craft scissors for only 6 bucks! So I grabbed them up, and hoped for the best. Here are the scissors that I used first for this manicure. They cut perfectly, the lines were crisp and the scissors cut straight with no difficulty. I hope the rest of them will be as good!
I decided not to use scotch tape, but instead painted a square of polish on a plastic sandwich bag and when it dried, I teased it off and then cut the polish with my new craft scissors. I placed the polish decal on my wet fingernails with tweezers, and it worked out great. For my thumb, pointer, and middle fingers I used OPI Schnapps Out Of It, and for my pinky and ring fingers I used OPI Don’t Talk Bach To Me. The accents were OPI My Vampire Is Buff and then I topped them all off with Essie As Gold As It Gets.
