Pink Lighting Bolts on my Fingernails

I like to try different things when I polish my fingernails and this one just kinda fell together without much planning on my part.  At first I wasn’t too sure about it, but after wearing it for a few days, I have grown to really like it a lot.  For my thumb and pinky I used OPI The Impossible, one of the new liquid sand polishes from OPI.  I just love this polish, it is one of my top favorites right now.  For my pointer finger I used OPI Don’t Talk Bach To Me, I really like this odd green color, and I switched to it at the last minute.  I think that it really makes this manicure Pop.  And for the accent nails I used OPI My Vampire Is Buff and I stamped them with OPI Scarlett and image plate BM-305.

About sunflowerswank

After working all of my life, I retired in June, 2011. I try to use my extra time to rest, exercise, paint my fingernails, play with my 9 cats, spend time with my husband, Al, and cook healthy and lower fat recipies for us to eat. I try to use as many fruits and vegetables in my menus as I can cram in, sometimes to the complaints of the hubs - LOL! I am also making over some of my old favorites to be heathier with more vegetables in them, and less fat.

  1. Loving this mani! Does the liquid sand polish stay on well?

    • Liquid Sand is wonderful!! It stays on forever – like 6 or 7 days without any chips. And this is with washing dishes, cooking and chopping veggies, showering and washing my hair, the only thing that made it chip was digging in the dirt and pulling weeds! It is a bit more difficult to remove due to the glitter in it, but soaking it in acetone for 15 – 20 seconds does the trick.
