Trying a Yellow Skittles Manicure

I love yellow, especially yellow nail polish, and I really like my new Selena Gomez yellow, Hit the Lights.  So I decided to use it in a yellow skittles manicure.  I got out all of my yellow polish, and came up with this combination.  It took a lot longer than I thought that it would, about 2 hours, but I think that the end result is worth it!

For my thumb I used China Glaze Sun Worshiper and topped it with China Glaze Lighthouse.  My pointer finger I used OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls and Finger Paints Lemon Sour and a medium dotting tool for the dots.  For my middle finger I used my current favorite combo Nicole by OPI Hit The Lights topped with Nichole by OPI Kissed At Midnight.  The accent nail is China Glaze Sun Worshiper and I stamped it with Konad Plate M89 and Konad White, and the pinky is plain Finger Paints Lemon Sour – Whew!

About sunflowerswank

After working all of my life, I retired in June, 2011. I try to use my extra time to rest, exercise, paint my fingernails, play with my 9 cats, spend time with my husband, Al, and cook healthy and lower fat recipies for us to eat. I try to use as many fruits and vegetables in my menus as I can cram in, sometimes to the complaints of the hubs - LOL! I am also making over some of my old favorites to be heathier with more vegetables in them, and less fat.
