Scallops and Polka Dots on my Fingernails

I really like doing accent nails, I like to have more than one color nail polish on my nails.  And – it’s an easy way to do nail art, sometimes I just don’t have the time or the patience to do art on all of my fingernails.  Sometimes – usually – what I see in my head before I start painting my nails is nothing like what my nails look like when I’m finished, but I really like how this turned out.  I used all OPI polishes this time, my pointer finger is Number One Nemesis, my thumb and pinky are Unfor-Greta-Bly Blue, and the accent nails are a base of My Boyfriend Scales Walls.  Then I painted half the nail with Number One Nemesis and used my large dotting tool to make scallops.  I put small dots of Unfor-Greta-Bly Blue along the edges of the scallops with a small dotting tool.

About sunflowerswank

After working all of my life, I retired in June, 2011. I try to use my extra time to rest, exercise, paint my fingernails, play with my 9 cats, spend time with my husband, Al, and cook healthy and lower fat recipies for us to eat. I try to use as many fruits and vegetables in my menus as I can cram in, sometimes to the complaints of the hubs - LOL! I am also making over some of my old favorites to be heathier with more vegetables in them, and less fat.
