My Valentine’s Day Manicure

Al and I had our Valentine’s Day dinner last night, a day early.  We went to Wente Vineyards, about an hour and a half west of here.  I painted my fingernails, let them dry for a while, and then got ready for dinner.  As we were ready to walk out the door, Al asked me if I needed to go to the bathroom before we left.  I said that I didn’t really, but since we had such a long drive, I would go anyway, so I did.  After we got in the car, and had been driving for about 5 minutes, I looked at my fingernails, and the heart on my right hand was gone!  All I had was a heart-shaped hole in my nail polish where the heart had been!  It mush have caught on something when I went to the bathroom!  I was so annoyed, but I was glad that I had taken pictures before I got dressed.  So I had dinner in this really nice restaurant with a funky Valentine’s Day manicure.  Then when we got home and I took off my tights, the little heart fell out, so I stuck it back on my nail!  I used all OPI polishes for this manicure, The Impossible for my main color, and Argenteeny Pinkini topped with Happy Anniversary for the accent nails.  I put a Gold Shape heart that I got from the Born Pretty Store on one of the accent nails for just a little more bling.   I love the look, but it’s snagging on everything – I don’t know how much longer I will be able to stand this – lol.

Main Color - OPI The Impossible. Accent Nails - Argenteeny Pinkini topped with Happy Anniversary with a Gold Shape heart from the Born Pretty Store.

About sunflowerswank

After working all of my life, I retired in June, 2011. I try to use my extra time to rest, exercise, paint my fingernails, play with my 9 cats, spend time with my husband, Al, and cook healthy and lower fat recipies for us to eat. I try to use as many fruits and vegetables in my menus as I can cram in, sometimes to the complaints of the hubs - LOL! I am also making over some of my old favorites to be heathier with more vegetables in them, and less fat.
