A New Box for my Cats

I had to get a new monitor for my computer recently.  The old monitor started to blink on and off when I first turned on my computer, and at first it blinked on and off only a couple of times.  But in only a few days, it was taking almost half an hour to “warm up” and stop blinking.  I panicked, thinking that it would totally go out on me before I could buy a new one.  So I got on Amazon and found a great new monitor, and ordered it.  Thank goodness, it got here before the old one broke completely.  I unpacked it, and just left the boxes on the floor while I unhooked the old monitor, and installed the new one.  When I went to throw away the box with the packing in it, it was full of cats!  So I left it on the floor and it was instantly popular, and it’s still on the floor and Charlie is sleeping in it as I write this.

Charlie and Sherbert jump in the box.

This peaceful state of affairs didn’t last long…..

Charlie just can't resist

Kerri and Sherbert got along a lot better

And Brite liked it best all by herself.

About sunflowerswank

After working all of my life, I retired in June, 2011. I try to use my extra time to rest, exercise, paint my fingernails, play with my 9 cats, spend time with my husband, Al, and cook healthy and lower fat recipies for us to eat. I try to use as many fruits and vegetables in my menus as I can cram in, sometimes to the complaints of the hubs - LOL! I am also making over some of my old favorites to be heathier with more vegetables in them, and less fat.

  1. Isn’t it funny how cats can manage to make any place their ‘own’?!
