Brite And The Ten Foot Drop

It was bad enough when my cat Charlie wanted to sit on the corner of the stairwell, but now Brite is sitting there, too.  To the best of my knowledge, Charlie has never fallen off, but I’m very afraid that Brite might.  She’s the one that falls asleep on top of the computer, and then falls off in her sleep.  I hear this loud thump, and then a bunch of cat complaints, and when I look over, she’s sitting next to the computer, looking like she just woke up.  She sits on the corner of the stair rail, and walks around, and she licks herself, and acts like she’s in the middle of the floor, not on top of a 10 foot drop.  And when I try to get her to come off, she just looks at me like why am I interrupting her fun.  As you can see in the last picture, she doesn’t have a tail.  This makes me even more worried about her, since she doesn’t have the extra balance that most cats with tails have.

What? I'm just Fine!

What are you doing up there, Brite? Please be careful!

About sunflowerswank

After working all of my life, I retired in June, 2011. I try to use my extra time to rest, exercise, paint my fingernails, play with my 9 cats, spend time with my husband, Al, and cook healthy and lower fat recipies for us to eat. I try to use as many fruits and vegetables in my menus as I can cram in, sometimes to the complaints of the hubs - LOL! I am also making over some of my old favorites to be heathier with more vegetables in them, and less fat.
