The last time that I was in Sally Beauty I finally broke down and bought a package of Cina Nail Art Stickers for $4.59. I got “Flower Power” because not only do I really like flowers, these were in yellow and white, my favorite colors for nail art. These are plastic stickers with adhesive on the back. This package has enough stickers to do a complete manicure in both yellow and white flowers, with enough left over to do a complete matching pedicure. Or, if you’re like me, enough to do LOTS of accent nails. I took this picture after I did my nails, so there are a couple of blank spots in the package – lol.
For my thumb and pinky I used Revlon Electric and China Glaze Lighthouse, for my pointer I used Essie Bikini So Teeny and Revlon Whimsical, and for the accent nails I used Sinful Colors Why Not and the Cina Nail Art Stickers. I really like the way that the yellow flowers look on the dark blue and how the yellow nails compliment the flower color. Since these are stickers, I had to be very careful when I placed them on my nails, once they stick, they are stuck for good. I was in a hurry so I used only one coat of top coat and the stickers really soaked it up. Next time I will use two or three coats on the stickers. Even with only one coat, they lasted pretty good, unfortunately the Sinful Colors Blue polish started to chip after only a day – an extra layer of top coat would help this, too. I will definitely use these again, especially the yellow flowers with the complimentary yellow nails. I already have lots of ideas for different combinations and colors, these are going to be fun!
