Scotch Tape Manicure in Soft Summer Colors

I just Love this manicure.  I love the colors, I love the crisp lines, and I love that it has still not chipped after three days!  However, it took over two hours to do, and I just don’t have the time or the patience on a regular basis for manicures like this.  But – this time it was Really Worth It!

I used OPI Argenteeny Pinkini for the base, and then I put on a layer of Seche Vite and let it dry for several minutes.  Then I carefully put pieces of scotch tape diagonally over the bottoms of my fingernails, leaving the tips uncovered.  I used Essie Bikini So Teeny for the tips, and then Finger Paints Lemon Sour for the dots.  Then I put a layer of Essie Luxeffects As Gold As It Gets over it all just because I hadn’t spent enough time yet on this manicure – lol – and I love the effect that the Luxeffects gives my nails.

Base – OPI Argenteeny Pinkini, Tips – Essie Bikini So Teeny,
Dots – Finger Paints Lemon Sour, Essie Luxeffects As Gold As It Gets over all.

About sunflowerswank

After working all of my life, I retired in June, 2011. I try to use my extra time to rest, exercise, paint my fingernails, play with my 9 cats, spend time with my husband, Al, and cook healthy and lower fat recipies for us to eat. I try to use as many fruits and vegetables in my menus as I can cram in, sometimes to the complaints of the hubs - LOL! I am also making over some of my old favorites to be heathier with more vegetables in them, and less fat.
