Sometimes you’re friends, Sometimes you’re not

I am always amazed at how each cat has their own unique personality.  These two cats have the same body type – stocky – but their personalities are almost exactly opposite.  ET (on the left) was a stray that we took in a dozen years ago.  She was about a year old then, and she had a hard time learning how to interact with the other cats.  Even now, she is a loner, and the other cats don’t play with her very much.  Kerri (on the right) was one of three 4 week old baby kittens that were dumped at our house about 6 years ago.  They were all really sick, and in addition, Kerri had a broken leg.  Kerri turned out to be very friendly and sweet, but is kinda skittish.

ET and Kerri both love to sleep in this chair.  Sometimes ET is in it by herself, and sometimes Kerri is by herself.  And every once in a while they are able to agree to share the chair and both sleep in it.  Sometimes they are relaxed and happy….

ET and Kerri cuddling, they are actually touching each other

And sometimes not so much!

I won't look at you if you won't look at me!

About sunflowerswank

After working all of my life, I retired in June, 2011. I try to use my extra time to rest, exercise, paint my fingernails, play with my 9 cats, spend time with my husband, Al, and cook healthy and lower fat recipies for us to eat. I try to use as many fruits and vegetables in my menus as I can cram in, sometimes to the complaints of the hubs - LOL! I am also making over some of my old favorites to be heathier with more vegetables in them, and less fat.

They seem to be more annoyed with the flashy box than with each other….
