Maid Day – a little late

This has been a really busy week with something to do every day.  This Friday we ate Thai in Sonora before seeing “Hamlet” at Stage 3.  This is the best theatre in the central valley, and everyone in the play was wonderful.  On Thursday I had a massage, and dinner at home, thankfully.  Wednesday we ate at Villa Napoli after my 6:00 pm haircut.   And the week started last Tuesday which was Maid Day again.  We had to stop at Sally Beauty for some new nail polish for me, and then a nice lunch at Concetta with our friend Eleanor.

I have been wanting to pick up some China Glaze Electrify ever since I saw a review of it on the internet, one of the new Finger Paints Spring line, and some white polish.  The cashier was busy, so I went back and looked at some more polish, and saw that all the China Glaze was on sale, so I got two more – Sun Worshiper and In The Lime Light (Neon).

China Glaze In The Lime Light (Neon), Electrify, and Sun Worshiper. Finger Paints Lemon Sour, and Orly White Tips.

For my first manicure with my new polish I used a base of the China Glaze Sun Worshiper and one coat of Electrify.  It is gold and red glitter, and I will confirm that glitter is a real challenge to get off – but I really love it!

About sunflowerswank

After working all of my life, I retired in June, 2011. I try to use my extra time to rest, exercise, paint my fingernails, play with my 9 cats, spend time with my husband, Al, and cook healthy and lower fat recipies for us to eat. I try to use as many fruits and vegetables in my menus as I can cram in, sometimes to the complaints of the hubs - LOL! I am also making over some of my old favorites to be heathier with more vegetables in them, and less fat.
