Charlie and the Ten Foot Drop

My cat Charlie has started sitting on the corner of the railing of the stairwell at night.  This railing has about an 8 foot drop down to the landing, and then another 8 feet or so down the stairs.  It makes me really nervous to see him sitting there in such a dangerous place.  It doesn’t bother him at all!  It doesn’t bother Al, either, he says that Charlie’s a cat, and therefore he won’t fall – but I don’t believe this.  Luckily, Charlie will come when I call, so when I find him sitting there, I say, “Come here, Charlie!” and he just walks right over to me. And btw – you can see in these pictures that he has no tail, well, at least not much of one LOL!

Charlie looking down from the railing, I'm scared to death that he will fall.

About sunflowerswank

After working all of my life, I retired in June, 2011. I try to use my extra time to rest, exercise, paint my fingernails, play with my 9 cats, spend time with my husband, Al, and cook healthy and lower fat recipies for us to eat. I try to use as many fruits and vegetables in my menus as I can cram in, sometimes to the complaints of the hubs - LOL! I am also making over some of my old favorites to be heathier with more vegetables in them, and less fat.
